UPS has plans to lay off 160 workers from its Richmond-based UPS Freight unit at 1000 Semmes Ave. — just south of the James River, between 10th and 11th streets — within the next 12 months.
The company said in a statement Tuesday that its UPS Freight headquarters will continue to operate in Richmond.
