The ground crew are eagerly awaiting the arrival of UPS Airlines’ first ever flight to Vietnam, the latest destination added along the existing intra-Asia route flown by UPS.

The UPS Store, Inc., the nation’s largest shipping, postal, print and business services chain*, today unveiled a new and contemporary design of its retail stores, now available for its large network of franchise owners. The first set of fully redesigned stores, which include the first major change to the stores’ layout in two decades, have opened in several markets around the country.

To honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on 9/11, UPSers around the world proudly took part in the fifth annual 9/11 Promise Run and Ride. It wasn’t a race. It wasn’t about being first. It was about participating, remembering, honoring and helping children and families of first responders and military service members killed, injured or out of work.
The 9/11 Promise Run and Ride is normally a three-day event, with runners starting in Washington, D.C. — alongside a simultaneous bike ride from the Pentagon Memorial to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pa. — and the event culminating at the 9/11 Memorial at Ground Zero in New York City. But this year was different, of course, and the event took place almost entirely in a virtual manner.
UPS today announced the election of Eva Boratto, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of CVS Health and Wayne Hewett, former Chief Executive Officer of Klöckner Pentaplast Group and of Arysta LifeScience Corporation, to the UPS Board of Directors, effective immediately.
“UPS has a robust process in place to identify and add talented leaders who will strengthen our board membership. In Eva and Wayne, we are adding two seasoned executives with diverse, global perspectives and deep subject matter expertise to support our strategic growth imperatives,” explained David Abney, UPS Executive Chairman.
UPS announced today that it expects to hire over 100,000 seasonal employees to support the anticipated annual increase in package volume that will begin in October 2020 and continue through January 2021.
