Hey UPSers!
I have been repeatedly criticized for not scanning certain packages properly, and upon investigating, I noticed that these packages have the tag "Indirect Delivery." After conducting some tests, I realized that the deliveries are not showing up on the UPS website. Why is this...
Hey guys I worked just under 40 hrs monday through friday and then worked Saturday for 8 hrs as a pvd. I looked at my timecard and saw that I was still getting my normal pay rate for that Saturday. To my understanding after you work the 5th day the 6th is automatic time and a half pay. Just...
Okay, so I’m new on here. I was and still technically am a PVD. I get it I’m not one of the permanent drivers but still busted my butt and deserve my pay. Management has been nothing but crap and disrespectful. Been told several times your really worried about two hours, 😳. YES I AM! Common...
Hey everyone,
I'm in a shifty situation and I would like to hear what y'all have to say. As the title says I'm a seasonal PVD driver for the winter, with hours fluctuating up and down these last two months. I got sick awhile back and due to the pandemic, I took it upon myself to get tested...

I've been a PVD for 2 seasons now and most recently called back due to high volume with COVID19. My performance was well above average (120 stops in 4 hrs out of a pickup truck on average) and the GM offered me a casual driver position which as you know is also a fulltime position. I accepted...

I stumbled upon this forum when I was waiting to get hired as a PVD and have been lurking for awhile. This is my third week driving as a PVD and I think I’m getting the hang of it. I haven’t heard any complaints from the driver I’m helping, but I’ve seen some of you have had some...
There was an article in yesterdays paper about a Mn. couple who is getting all kinds of stuff (including sex toys) they never ordered. They have done everything up to and including going to the police to get it to stop but the packages keep coming.
With the new contract coming up and UPS showing out with the 70 hour work weeks and hiring SPVD’s, I feel like a strike might actually happen. I’m just not sure exactly what that entails for us as union members and I have a couple of questions if someone could answer.
1) Is the strike fund...
Got picked up for the season as a PVD. (Boooo!!! GTFO!!! SCAAAB!! <<< lol) Just to get some of that out of the way.
I picked up the PVD gig to get my foot in the door with UPS. I originally applied for a seasonal driver position and was only offered PVD.
I'd be glad to answer any...
I am a seasonal pvd (personal vehicle delivery) driver in texas for UPS. I started about a month ago as a driver helper and after 2 days was put as a pvd. I recieved on the mail today a Teamster-UPS National 401(k) tax differed savings plan packet. I would assume this means that I will be kept...
