Before you put all your eggs in that basket you might want to take a look.China is in Africa big time building infrastructure in exchange for getting at all those resources.  You're right that Africa has a lot of oil, minerals, etc, but their leadership tends to keep the lion's share for themselves.  When the U.S. used to give millions to Africa their leaders became some of the wealthiest people in the world.  Kept all that money for themselves.  Was common for them to jet to Europe to shop and send their kids to school.  Until the corruption problem is solved Africa doesn't have much hope.</blockquote>
