I, along with 3 other people in my building, were hired as 22.4’s BEFORE the date above as listed in the contract, and are still forced to a Tues—Sat schedule. Working Saturdays is whatever, Mondays are kinda nice to have off, but I would like to six punch more often and I don’t get the option because help isn’t needed on Mondays. Last I heard there was nationwide arbitration for guys like me who exist all over the country. Anyone have any info on how that is going?

RPCD isnt 22.4. You were hired as a 22.4. You're stuck until they fire/ hire or retire.

The contract essentially abrogates the 22.4 position, which is the unions argument. So prior classification shouldn’t matter. I’m cool with working Saturdays I just want time and a half for it. I’ve watched 4 retirees also since the contract reverted and I was pushed back to this schedule a year or so ago. 2 more guys are retiring within the next several months. Still no movement on me.

Previous classification shouldn't matter? Have you actually read the contract on this matter?

Here, I'll help you,

Art 11 sec 1 paragraph a(iii):

Previously classified Article 22.4(b) drivers shall remain on a Tuesday-Saturday workweek unless the number of necessary Tuesday-Saturday workweek schedules can be covered by RPCDs described in Paragraphs (i) or (ii) above.

Know your :censored2: dude.

Just ride it out and gain seniority. We’ve all been there before, it just takes time
