Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4844129" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>No, I'm saying if less capable people with lower test scores are given a pass to address inequities then do you expect them to perform at the same level as those, no matter what the color, who achieved higher grades and scores?  Recently saw where the issue of too many white pilots was being addressed by lowering standards so there could be more minority pilots.  When I fly a Mexican airline I don't worry about the pilots being Mexican.  I assume the pilots are the best available, with extensive training and proven capability.  If I see a minority pilot on an American airline I assume the same.  Suddenly we're faced with very capable pilots being forced out in favor of those who's qualifications may not be as good but they fit the right racial profile.  This is nuts and will probably get people killed.</p></blockquote><p></p>
