They definitely scan any of my junk mail that comes in card or envelope form. They don’t scan those coupon mailers or anything that can’t be run through their automated machines. Experiences can probably vary.

My understanding is also that the USPS has been scanning mail pieces since 9/11 anyway. Now they’re just emailing it. Your stuff is still scanned even if you’re not subscribed to Informed Delivery.

I dont know about that but their CEOs are definitely liberal. Which is weird considering they love cheap labor, low pay and hate unions.
