I got this email claiming that UPS signed me up for an account on box. Anyone else get one of these?

If UPS is giving or selling my information to a third party, I'm going to be pisssed.

Looks like a scam to me. Does UPS even have your email address? That's how I always immediately realize a scam.... When I know I haven't given anyone my email address.

If it was ups, it would say that, not the whole name of the company since hardly no one refers to it that way. When someone asks who is your employer, you would simply say "ups" not the whole name.

Fishy as hell sounding.

No, but now that you mention it, I did apply for an internal job and the website UPS uses to have you apply is owned by Equifax.

If you type the url with no spaces, it takes you to this website:

Box | Simple Online Collaboration ,

which does look like something from UPS.

It appears to be an internal UPS website that one has to have login credentials to get into.

They tried that here too.

And that type of email in the OP is a phishing scam. It is either going to have you enter in info that is going to cost you bigly or it is a virus that installs when you click on it.
