At least one person dies after UPS truck and car collide - TMJ4
According to Sergeant Mark Stanmeyer with Milwaukee Police, a 2003 Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Green Bay when it struck a legally parked UPS delivery truck.
"The Honda Civic and the UPS truck both erupted into flames after the crash," said Sgt. Stanmeyer. "The UPS driver was out of the truck making a delivery and he, along with a witness, pulled the driver of the Honda from the burning car. The driver, a 57-year-old Glendale woman, died at the scene."
UPS Corporate Communications said their driver was not injured in the crash, but there were packages on the truck at the time. UPS is working on notifying their customers. They are also working with local agencies in the investigation.
