Bid question

Would a recently transferred part-employee from another station win a route bid over another employee with less seniority? Was under the impression you had to be at the station a certain number of months before you could bid on a route.

I think you lose your seniority for 6 months when you transfer. So if he’s been there for less than 6 months and bids on the route he would be lowest on the list.

thats what I thought. They gave it to the person that just transferred. Told him to fight it cuz it didn’t seem right.

You lose your seniority for 6 months when it comes to vacations. Bidding on a route depends on what your offer letter says.
