It teaches the way to salvation. Not only does it teach how to get born again salvation, but very clearly describes that you can't achieve it through works alone. If salvation and the way it is taught in the gospels doesn't jive with what you believe, then just continue to live life as a political activist using the words of movies and your theological teachers and leave it at that. Stop bringing Jesus into it and confusing those who may genuinely be seeking the path to salvation.</blockquote>
