That cop just made that elderly man pretty rich, cop got frustrated took it too far, he had already called for a supervisor should’ve waited. Elderly man was no threat. just annoying and confused.

The older citizen had to weigh 140 pounds at best, the officer was probably in his thirties and had at least a 50 pound advantage. It is on him...nobody is perfect, but there is a standard with law enforcement on when a line is crossed. I happen to be the same age as the gentleman, forget about his age, physically it was a total mismatch.

In my opinion, some cops score "out of range" on the MMPI but are hired anyway due to the shortage of recruits.

If you were to see how badly people drive around here, one would thing that no cops ever stops anyone for traffic violations. Almost daily I hear on the police scanner emergency calls for people getting hit while in a crosswalk by a vehicle. Every time I go grocery shopping, I make sure to be pushing a shopping cart for protection just to get in & out of the store. Many vehicles have come very close to hitting me with some drivers screaming at me for "getting in their way", while I was in a crosswalk.

Cops by definition agree to enforce all laws. Many laws are unjust, bureaucratic horse. Cops agree to act as enforcers for unjust horse. It is by this very nature that they can never be trusted. At the end of the day, they will do anything they're told to get a paycheck.

Six dozen cars a day fly down my road doing twice the speed limit, running the stop sign without even hitting the brakes, and hitting pets. Same vehicles every day.The local cops do absolute all despite knowing all about it. At the municipal building I told them I was going to take a god damn jackhammer to the road so I'm probably on watch now.
