[QUOTE="rickyb, post: 6026717, member: 56035"] i can easily see a regular doctor. but many of us dont have a family doctor. its just walk in. its not as good but theyre good. emergency room is based on urgency. if its not urgent you will wait maybe 4 hours idk depending on where and what time you go. and then all those other things i mentioned. i think a lot of countries have shortages of nurses. doesnt america have a shortage of nurses as well? our 4 year nurses make 90000 a year i think. after they changed my schedule i couldnt take it anymore. so since i came back in october. here they want to privatize it for profit. and our economics has been influenced by reagan. so its under funded. actually its so bad here some hospitals are shut down for 12 hours or maybe more. its just corruption. chomsky says they make it work badly and then privatize it. so were at the first step lol. its not rocket science to pay doctors more or whatever. nurses are overworked. canada is amongst many other countries like UK, ireland i believe, and america which does not have an organized left. last i heard about obama care was he got more people insured and did not control costs. and the bill was a 2000 page disaster. i think our healthcare thing is 1 page here.
