Yup as long as their on company time or company vehicle.
Of course.At 12:45 AM
Due to the flood
Are they getting paid
Just curious.
So they are above the law thereHappen to my building during a blizzard years ago,,,,,if you stayed with truck and did not find shelter you got paid straight through.Union made some kind of deal ....time and a half after 8hrs till midnight.....straight time after for 8hrs..then time and a half again...........to alot of us it was total BS
We'll be delivering the Sunday before this year to soften the blow.Reminds me of last Christmas Eve, flood of airs kept us out way too late.
That's not true.Even if the company had agreed to pay them time and a half, they would have lost most, if not all, of it to taxes.
Resident know-it-all.
Doubt that the one day of lots of overtime would bump them into a higher tax bracket.Even if the company had agreed to pay them time and a half, they would have lost most, if not all, of it to taxes.

Thank you H&R Block. It would work itself out in the end but for the paycheck in question they would get slammed by Uncle Sam.
