Police said a man, who was wearing an orange jumpsuit, fired several rounds of a shotgun in the parking lot of the UPS center, then he pointed it at officers, who opened fire.

UPS told KPRC 2 News that a part-time employee who was recently hired for a position working inside the facility was taken into custody.

Deshona Prince, who claims to be the man's girlfriend, says his name is Levoda Jackson. Prince said Jackosn has been trying to get a paycheck from UPS for several weeks. He went there to pick up the check and was told he could not have it.
