FBI investigating local Ebola scare - Click2Houston
"UPS was notified by law enforcement on Tuesday, October 14, that a package originating in the U.S. was delivered Monday, October 13 to a residential address in Richmond, TX that had handwriting on the exterior that included the word "Ebola." UPS is cooperating with authorities during their investigation."
The FBI says the suspicious package has been removed to an isolated location. They are working with the Centers for Disease Control to find exactly what it contains.
If it is discovered that this is a prank, the FBI plans on finding the person responsible and prosecuting them.
