Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 5385856" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>I was a 20 yr old kid in the Air Force with a top secret clearance just like pretty much everyone around me.  You make it sound like the fate of the country hinged on Trump having documents marked "Top Secret."  There's an extreme classification of secrecy that applies to some documents that only a relative handful of people have access to.  Those if in his possession in his home would be a cause for serious concern.  But just about everything else only requires the right security clearance and an adherence to the rules.  If a Secretary of State can break those rules with impunity then a President while still in office can certainly choose to declassify documents and take them with him.  And he was in office right up until Biden was sworn in.  Tempest in a teapot.</p></blockquote><p></p>
