Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 5564719" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>What planet are you from?  70 years ago blacks were referred to as Coloreds, or worse.  Feel free to call them African-American if you like but I've known plenty of blacks who call themselves black.  And don't give me the old "white guy claims he has black friends" routine.  I grew up in the South, played basketball on black courts, worked with a lot of blacks, and one of my two best friends in the world, who I went to church with and who died at 57 from cancer, was black.  That you would bring it up says a lot more about you.  We're white, they're black, get over it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
