If feasible, go out on the weekend and drive the route in your vehicle and get a feel for the area. When they cut you loose, your head is going to spin for a few days, so if you can eliminate area knowledge from the madness it may help.They are going to expect daily/weekly progress in the amount of stops you can do and how long it takes you to finish the route.
