The supe that trained me was a 'sink or swim' supe. He sent new drivers out with a 10 hour plan with an 11 hour day mixed in for good measure. After 3 weeks, he would toss in an 8 hour day to see if you would do it in 8 or milk it. No EDD, no PAS, set up each section and find every package for a stop. Remember the stuff loaded in back (put a delivery notice on the stop before in the section it would have been it.)New drivers really do not have it that tough. The only reason why anyone would think it is tough is because it is not an easy job. I would LOVE to have the 1st week dispatch of a new driver every now and then. It would be like a vacation.</blockquote>
