The biggest issue is the Kashmir.region is split between the two countries and the Muslim inhabitants of the India side want to join Muslim Pakistan. The Muslim Pakistani side aids them and the Pakistani government has given unofficial aid to the insurgents. The latest actions involves India bombing locations in Pakistani Kashmir.
