He pressured them to release a vaccine that was not thoroughly tested for a virus that was not nearly as dangerous as they said. Unfortunately, at that point in time in history, he was more worried about having his name on something. Now he doesn’t wanna associate with that at all. And he was all too willing to court the drug companies who were just looking to get their billions of dollars from the government. If people were harmed, killed or even just misled about the actual effectiveness of this medicine, they didn’t care. They would actually lie.
Trump was under pressure to get a vaccine quick and he was still attacked for not getting one quicker. He trusted the supposed experts but never forced anyone to take the vaccine if they didn't want to. Compare that to Biden.
They say you can judge leadership by how they react under pressure.

I never got the shot and never had Covid. Or if I did it was too mild to notice. The constantly changing narrative about the vaccine and what it did and didn't do was a big red flag for me. At best you might not get as sick after you caught the virus but with unknown side effects. It did nothing to give immunity or to stop the spread so the risks of taking it were never worth it for me.
Certainly, I don’t begrudge anyone for taking it or not taking it I I understood it as a personal choice. I never once was worried about if someone had a vaccine or not, never asked someone, never cared if they wore a mask or not because I understood that that was not going to stop me from getting it.
At first, they said you couldn’t get it if you got the shot then as people start getting Covid they said it was just “breakthrough” lol. Then eventually they admit it yeah it doesn’t really stop it at all but you’ll have less symptoms lol OK whatever. There’s really no way to quantify that when people who had the shot were getting pretty sick and going to the hospital and some people that didn’t have the shot had no symptoms at all (like yourself) when they had it. Again, it was a personal choice and always should’ve been and never should’ve been politicized.

Never got the shot. Didn’t get covid until 3 weeks ago. It was mild and felt like an extended cold. I did lose my ability to taste for a couple weeks. Other than that it was no big deal.
