Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4815542" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>OK, I looked at Snopes.  There's already a law in place, and this new law just reiterates it, that people aren't allowed to give food and water to those in line within a certain distance, as you pointed out.  The reason is to not have campaign workers trying to influence voters.  But earlier refinery was saying people weren't allowed to have food and water at all.  Not so.  Voters are allowed to bring their own food and water and can even have it delivered to them.  Poll workers are to watch out for people trying to influence the vote by passing out food, drinks, and other gifts.</p></blockquote><p></p>
