Not really. It’s highlighting things that Christianity teaches and how they run counter to modern America. People sitting here saying “I don’t agree with homosexuality” on religious grounds are cherry picking their discrimination from a very old and primitive book. God condones slavery and lays out the blueprint that sounds a lot like the Atlantic slave trade. ‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly. Is that not god saying that buying human beings for slavery is okay? Does Christianity not reinforce this by failing to condemn slavery and by promoting slaves to obey their masters as they would god? None of you go around justifying slavery, because that would be evil. Yet you see no hypocrisy in adopting the evil attitudes the Bible has against gays, straight up calling it a righteous decree to murder them in the New Testament Romans 1:32. Very silly stuff coming from you hypocrits, sorry I didn’t spell it out for you, I thought you would get the drift of the comparison of evils that run counter to our country as it is now.
