Local 104 extra work question

Here at the Goodyear facility i have a friend who is Combo 22.3. He is Midnight/Preload so here and there he picks up extra work on the twilight!
So he comes in for twilight (extra work) works 2 or 3 hours than takes his lunch/ than he starts his normal shift on midnight .. However on his preload side they tend to cut him super early at his 8hrs! Is this right on management part?? Shouldn't management honor his 4hrs mid
4 hrs preload??

Yes he needs to file, he has a combo job guaranteed 8 hrs They are letting him come in early for extra work which goes by company seniority. That does not effect his combo job. Unless he wants to leave early.

Make sure he isn’t violating any DOT regulations with the 22.3 driving portion due to his job at the Goodyear facility.
