Message: <blockquote data-quote="worldwide" data-source="post: 6153119" data-attributes="member: 2193"><p>The UPS invoice you received will tell you what fees are UPS fees (brokerage) vs US gov't fees.  Almost all fees are based on the value of the package that the shipper declared to US Customs.  If they declared the wrong value, you'll have to decide whether to pay what UPS is asking and then try to get reimbursement from the shipper OR you can refuse the shipment and it will get sent back to the shipper in Ukraine.  Since the shipment came from your family, you should have no issue working something out.  UPS cannnot change the value of the item that was declared to US Customs.</p></blockquote><p></p>
