My particular center had vacation checks on payday, Thursday, 2 weeks in advance of your vacation from when I was hired in '87 to well after 2000. It was then reduced down to the Thursday the week before somewhere around 2008 to right up to when I retired in 2018. Everyone working at UPS should know by now that UPS does lots of things very differently region to region, even local to local. But that's OK.
