One killed in Wednesday morning wreck - The Huntsville Item
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, an 18-wheeler carrying six cars and a motorcycle was traveling south on Interstate 45 near FM 1696 when one of its tires blew out about 2:30 a.m. Police say the truck began to slow down when a United Parcel Service 18-wheeler slammed into the back of it.
The driver of the UPS truck, who was from Terrell, died at the scene. The driver of the truck transporting cars and a motorcycle was treated for minor injuries at Huntsville Memorial Hospital and released Wednesday.
