The range is basically useless compared to the ability to fuel at home. Fueling at home and eliminating the mechanic and the gas stop is a net time savings for most Americans. The average car gets 12k miles per year. Most Americans don't need the extra 100 miles of range or whatever silly number it is. They can go all year and never drive 500 miles in a day.</blockquote>
