The history was Israel fighting off its Muslim neighbors.  The history was Christians in Lebanon having to flee their country with Muslims driving them out.  The history of the entire region was dealing with Muslim armies that came out of the Arabian Peninsula and conquered, pillaged and killed everyone in their path across south and central Asia all the way to the Pacific as well as repeated attempts to conquer Europe.  The Muslims can't deal with any other group having authority over them.</p></blockquote><p></p>
