Change the subject? No thanks! Could it have something to do with the fact that emails were just released proving without a shadow of a doubt the White House tried to cover it up? Via Politico: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Republicans are engaging in “diversion, subterfuge” by continuing to talk about the attack in Benghazi. “Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi,” Pelosi said to reporters Thursday when asked about a new cache of recently released emails. “Why aren’t we talking about something else?” Republicans have focused heavily on the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic facility in Libya. During a Thursday hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Republicans seized on new documents released from the White House to accuse the Obama administration of lying about its role in drafting talking points about the attack. Before exiting the news conference, Pelosi circled back to Benghazi. “If you all want to sit around and talk about Benghazi you can sit around and talk about Benghazi,” Pelosi said. “The fact is that a subterfuge and they don’t want to talk about jobs, growth, immigration reform, voting rights, you name it.”
