The idea that Sarah Palin would only be one 70+ year old hearbeat away from having the launch codes to our nuclear weapons was, quite frankly, horrifying to me. As a gun owner I do admire her support for the 2nd Amendment, but I also found it insulting that she was basically trotted out on stage as little more than a set of perky boobs with a rifle in order to lock in the gun owners vote. If she had been a 50+ year old woman with a big butt and saggy boobs he would never have named her as a running mate, regardless of her credentials or intellectual abilities.</blockquote>
