That's why overtime is cheaper. 40 hours for pension and 40 hours for healthcare
The first 40 hours are cheaper than the overtime

Found out company is only liable for 2080 hours per year. All the overtime does nothing for your pension.

But the company will try to save money by sending home a PT Union member to save $14/hr and and pay a FT driver $58/hr to clean up the mess. Of course now we have $20/hr 22.4 drivers with unlimited OT to clean up the mess.

Every supplement is different. I'm pretty sure I need 1800 hours to receive credit for a full year
No I know some other guys that have taken too many dead days that they didn't get full credit for their pension and also got prorated on their vacation days the following year

I believe starting January all hours go toward pension. Obviously 40 per week for 52 weeks is the standard average. We work over 8 hours daily by default. If you hit pension limit of say 2080 in October then all additional hours are just “unpaid pension” credit hours.
