As soon as our (Central States) pension cut is finalized (July 1st) everyone will be jumping on the "cut pensions" bandwagon. Having a Teamster based pension or a Company based one won't matter----everyone will want relief.

You shouldn't be surprised. That plan continued to pay bigger pensions than most other plans even as its funds were dwindling. The only question is how bad it will end up.

Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.
What does this mean necessarily.. Doesn't UPS pay our pension? What does this have to do with the union?
Different regions have different pension plans.

Some have a union pension.

Some have a union and company pension.

And now some newer hires have just a company pension.

Most union plans are starting to fail.

Been happening for a long time.

But they are sure to fail with the neglect that they leadership of our union has shown.
