Update!!! I wish I would have pulled the trigger last year on my 30 year anniversary-That came to mind last night Update!!!!!! Just stuff I have noticed Week one was a complete total shock to the system-(Like I lost my job or close friend)) In another forum I mentioned I went to a Teamsters retirees meeting being my parents belong to it and joined. Looking around at all the people with health conditions was an eye opener. So many gave their prime years of their life to a corporation to only retire with bad backs, knees etc. Many don't have a parent or parents around to spend more time with after retirement Even with the buyout rumor I am still glad I am gone- I can get by on what I have and what I get knowing that I have added another summer to enjoy while I am healthy. I was planning on chasing the carrot just 3 1/2 more years. So many leave when they have or have to due to a major health issues. Having healthy years in retirement is a blessing. I can still hike, climb, bike ride, run, swim ,head stands etc etc zero health issues and now I am actually stress free and stepped up eating even better. My slight constant tension headache is gone---- Fitness center-joining Monday Stress is a major factor in age declining- I feel I am reversing now in just a couple weeks. Hopefully others will benefit from all this.
