BABA, in case you didnt know, and Im guessing you dont cause your always on the wrong side of the facts.. STATES have had the 50 employee requirement for many years. Here in california, employers have been dodging the state laws on healthcare for 2 decades. If they are required to provide top coverage for employees with 50 or more employees, then they reduce to 48. Then, then fall into the next coverage levels which saves the employers money by offering inferior coverage. No matter what the number of employees, the employers will ALWAYS try to get out of coverage. What will be foced to happen is SINGLE PAYER as the corporations are making it easier to sell single payer as they eliminate coverage for employees while reducing wages. You may not like single payer, but without realizing it, you are creating the scenario for this to happen by attempting to kill the ACA. Employers in this country have been trying to get out of healthcare for 3 decades now. The creation of part time employees is nothing new to the american workforce. In fact, corporations like fedex exploit the "independent contractor" to avoid taxes, healthcare and benefits. Many companies over the last 15 years will only hire people as independent contractors. By cancelling coverage for employees, its now time to make mandatory coverage for all employees regardless of how many they employ. If prices go up, then only those businesses that will cut the CEO's pay to cover employees will survive. Look at the ALbersons food chain. They have been closing stores and laying off employees for 10 years now, while the CEO was recieving raises of 5 to 8 million dollars a year. The Board ran the company into the ground, stealing huge profits in the form of ridiculous compensations, then sold the business after it was destroyed and then recieved GINORMOUS compensations for their actions. Instead, the free market allows these bas-tards to get rich while ruining the lives of thousands of american workers. Of course, its the republican way and its cool as long as none of you are affected by it. TOS.
