Re: Obamanomics If you are willing to consider another POV beyond the State storyline we get fed daily by our own media, the international press is often a breathe of real fresh air IMO. One main reason IMO that our media is losing readers/viewers is they just carry the gov't line for the most part and then down the road we learn that either we weren't told the truth or info was kept from us. Go look at some of the international press back in time and what they were reporting and then compare what we know now. Same is true to some degree of the so-called alternative press who daily are displacing the mainstreet media as the primary information source people seek out. Look at who to some extent blew open the misdeeds of the global warming experts. It was the foreign press, not the so-called American "FREE" press who held the official state line until the foreign and alternative press forced the issue. Who questioned and held to "no WMD in Iraq" while our press acted as a state official information conduit that Iraq was a WMD writ large storehouse of all kinds of nasty stuff? Even Fox News itself now admits no WMD found in Iraq. The foreign press is by no means perfect by any stretch but don't ignore it either. That'd be my advice. jmo
