Actually giving kids individualized attention has been shown to be much more effective than national standards.  Be honest Boehner and McConnell cannot push any agenda with the President we have.  The freedom to opt out of the social security system was pushed before 2008 but was blocked by all dimocrats and some republicans.  As a side note we already had a president elected and elected by a large margin that wanted to eliminate the departments of education and energy.</blockquote>
