This is the most disingenuous piece of drivel I've seen all week. You want to talk about honesty? Be honest about whether you'd have given Hillary or gave Obama that same leeway with the truth - we both know the answer to that. Trump is NOT doing a good job, and if you really knew anything or looked one minute past the present day, you'd understand that. Our alliances are a mess, while he's practically in bed with dictators worldwide. The economy is heading for another disaster a few years down the road, and he's not doing anything to head it off, rather he's pushing the pedal to the metal with his policy. He's ignoring climate change despite the fact that there's not a reputable scientist around who agrees we're not :censored:ed if we don't make drastic changes like yesterday. There's so much more to add, but it's not gonna change any of your minds so why bother. The answer to your question is a very simple one for me - not only would she have been the lesser of two evils, but she would have been a fantastic president. She truly was perhaps the most prepared person in the history of this nation to be president. I don't need to like/love the candidate I vote for on a personal level - we will not be meeting for drinks and hanging out - I need to trust that they have the best interests of this country in mind, are prepared for the job in ALL arenas they will face, and will take responsibility for the decisions they make and how those decisions will affect us for years down the road, and that was an easy Hillary vote to me. Trump is not making smart decisions and his nationalistic tendencies are shortsighted and out of touch with the global world we now live in and cannot hide from. If you think he was elected because he was the best candidate to lead our nation, that's fine, but I do not. I believe there was a much darker and more sinister reason behind his victory, and I think it's hard to deny that. The plays his team ran during this election will be taught for decades, as a marketing/rebranding and psychological warfare masterclass. How they got people to hold him up as some champion of the little man, and totally forget who he's been his whole life, and the questionable character and decision making in his business affairs he's shown since day 1 is crazy. It was brilliant. It was also unethical and predatory, but it was what it was, and it got the job done. I've never seen anything like this. The polls weren't incorrect like some of you seem to believe - his voters were ashamed to admit to the pollsters that he was their choice - and yet he got their vote. The red hat wearing maga crowd didn't elect this guy, it was the people who he manipulated psychologically by appealing to their deep fears and unrealistic hopes, and who were too embarrassed to admit they liked him who sealed his victory. The people who think the woke bull:censored: and the politically correct posturing has gone too far. And you know what? It has, and it's time for liberals to recognize this. We are our own worst enemies on that front, and it needs to change if we're gonna win national elections while the electoral college is still in place. Liberals have got to stop attacking each other and focus on the real issues facing this country. The fake liberal outrage makes ME sick, and I'm a :censored: liberal to the core - how do they think that plays with the moderates and those on the fence who keep being chastised like their thoughts and way of life is so repulsive that the world can't possibly go on until they're all best friends with the tranny next door and grandpa has a new black homosexual lover that he's on the down low with. The end. Cool story bro.
