The process starts in the House where every member is up for election every 2 years. They will quickly face reelection votes after any impeachment vote. Impeachment isn’t a judicial proceeding it’s held in a political theatre. It takes a super majority vote in the Senate to convict requiring quite a bit of politicking to obtain.
