Families didn’t brutally rise to the top. It organically happened. The industrial Revolution has been a disaster for humanity. Technology and progress are racing faster than humans ability to control it. The common man didn’t rise up against the ruling families. It was always a fringe group of radicals who had some seriously large financial backing from whoever the opposition party was who wanted power. We just changed masters.
