Just telling it like it is
Well Fred, did keeping the union out and paying your employees stagnant wages make you happy?

Hope you got to take all that money you saved with you.

Make Freddy roll over early FedX employees! Organize! Slave labor is so yesterday. How long are you going to be dip s:censored2:ts?
Wealth awaits. Make Raj, (with a name like that you might stand a good chance) at least treat you like human beings.

That ship sailed a long time ago. Contractors have replaced employees.

FedEx is under different laws/regulations than UPS. The only dip:censored2:s are the people who can't seem to grasp that. That and the topped out employees in 2010 who were resistant to a union when we still had a chance of getting one. Oh well. I once directly appealed to his office about some crazy shenanigans I was dealing with. His personal secretary contacted me and asked some questions. They circled the wagons around management at the time but later the senior was demoted and an ops mgr was fired. I gave 29 years on the clock to his company so Fred will always be a part of my life. Was a tough lesson to learn that a job that seemed at one time was going to be a good deal was really just a bait and switch operation that was all about making money at our expense. Only those who are truly desperate for a job should work for them now. With low pay and no benefits it's just a placeholder until something better comes along. If I wanted to do this kind of work today I'd go with Amazon if I couldn't get on at UPS. Just line them up and knock them off.

Some dips:censored2:t workers in California, New York, and the Memphis don't know they can't unionize since they have.
While it would be difficult, it is possible for a national.

No Jim Casey, who paid a living union wage and prospered.

Now with the merge, every employee will be disposable, low pay meat.

Once they merge and ground is chucking/picking up air work, how are they different from UPS besides no benefits and low pay?
Ask the government that question, and even then you have the contractor situation, which makes it exceedingly difficult to organize.

The no benefits and low pay part is the crux of the matter. You earn your money at UPS but there was a time when we did too at Express. Before Ground came along many of us drove big.stepvans. But we had to run a sort every morning before hitting the road. And then had to meet deadlines all day while delivering and picking up bulk. And depending on the station often had to work the reload at night. Every day was a fire drill, often after waiting for late freight after our flight was delayed for weather or mechanical issues. The advent of Ground made it easier for a lot of us but it still was a fire drill. Unlike you we were never rewarded much for our efforts in the last 20-25 years. If not 30. I couldn't imagine doing the job for what they're offering now. Looking forward to getting Medicare. My knees will need replacing eventually.
