I was sitting in my grandma car in my mom’s driveway. She was taking me somewhere, don’t remember and I was on the phone calling ahead for something. It was broad daylight out. I noticed my black neighbors were in the process of moving out having two black friends helping them. One of the guys came over from the truck and asked if he could get a smoke off me, I obliged it was a Newport menthol, I always take notice when black people ask for one and comment on it being a Newport before lighting it up because of the gorilla mints racist stereotype I heard from white ghetto trash growing up, which was mostly true in my experiences with black smokers. When I got home, my mom told me our black neighbors who we were friendly with but didn’t really know got robbed that day. I was like holy :censored:ing :censored: not only did I watch the guys do it, but I gave one of the bastards a cigarette! I went over there and ID the guys to the family. They were apparently friends of the son, you could see the hurt in the kids eye. I apologized profusely for not stopping them because I thought they were moving out. I felt like such a :censored: not realizing, but I wasn’t familiar enough for the family and these guys did it in broad :censored:ing daylight. I realize that kid probably didn’t even want the cigarette he just wanted to see why the witnesses were on the phone. That’s the one time that I wish I was racist. Seeing two black men load up a truck in broad day light I just assumed they were helping the family move, people came and went all the time from that rent house. They completely cleaned out a little girl’s room. Stole her computer, iPod, etc. The family wasn’t rich either. I would of shot those son of a bitches dead if I knew what they were doing.
