Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 6039746" data-attributes="member: 24302">Never said Jesus was about money making.  But you can't seem to grasp that a system that allows most people to make a living is a fair and just system.  Another thing you need to realize is when the New Testament talks about visiting prisoners in jail that it was during Roman times and the Romans imprisoned a lot of men unjustly.  In no way is it saying that today's convicts must all be set free.  Certainly is evidence comes to light that exonerates someone then that person should be freed.  But letting hardcore criminals out without serving their earned sentences would not only be unfair to their victims but very dangerous for everyone.</blockquote>
