Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 6067150" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>They went through seven rounds of negotiations.  They obviously weren't getting what they wanted.  Putin could have pulled his army at any time.  His problem was he thought he'd run over the Ukrainians just like they did Georgia.  He had no incentive to leave then.  He does now.  The only thing standing against continued stalemate is if Trump pulls U.S. support from Ukraine.  Putin doesn't want to leave without at least keeping the Donbas and Crimea.  If Trump pulls his support Putin might get the whole country.  The Ukrainians will likely concede territory before that happens.  Don't be shocked if down the road Russia loses Siberia.  They've been greatly weakened.</p></blockquote><p></p>
