I questioned your intelligence because of your inability to comprehend that the value of the pay wasn’t an issue but the value of the years of service. You still don’t quite grasp it for some reason. It still baffles me that a simple concept like that escapes you. A person that has provided 10 years of service to a company has made said company more money than a 90 day guy. I don’t even see how you can even dispute that. The fact that they do the same job is irrelevant to that fact. It’s a pretty elementary concept you make your company more money your value to said company should in theory be more. Your also ignorant comment to having spent 10 years of service as a part timer as embarrassing is making alot of assumptions of a person. What if I were to tell you that ups was a means for insurance only? Not just for me but for others. This isn’t my career big guy.I could go on about being an independent contractor and that this zombie job just is a cost effective way to provide insurance for a family of four for minimal effort and zero cost. Sure I could probably afford it without the extra effort of running a business and working at ups but why should I? Not to mention the added benefit of a easy pension on the side. You see it as embarrassing I see it as smart. And guess what I’ll let you on a little secret my liberal friend. I could easily put in for your job and do it tomorrow. If I did though I would take a pay cut and sacrifice time with my wife and kids in the process.
