You are a funny guy. A contrarian in fact. So what you are saying is that you are going to reject the concept of your coming raise right?Based on what you say? Your claim here is non-skilled workers service has no value because anyone can do your job.Drivers and pt warehouse workers are both by definition non skilled labor.Well considering your raise was ballyhooed as a necessity by the union because of the record profit's posted on the backs/service of the workers and as you have stated service has no value then you don’t deserve a raise at all right. It fact why do we get a paycheck at all if our service doesn’t make the company money or have value. What a dumb response. We are a in a service driven industry. I will agree though any idiot can drop a box off at a door step or load/unload sort a box. The concept you fail to grasp again is this simple fact…EVERYONE WONT DO IT. Because of this simple fact you and I get paid/raises/benefits. Thus the service we produce has a value and the years of doing so also has a value. Do you feel that you should forfeit your place in the vacation biding schedule because Timmy new driver performs the same duties as you do? I mean surely you do the same job so why should you be able to put in vacation before Timmy? Your simple minded definition of service value created should mean you disapprove of such a practice right? I think we both know the truth to what your answer is to that question.
