We were told a strike vote was only a negotiating tool to force the company to change some of it's demands. It was a verbal vote by those in attendance. Local 728 covers the whole state of Georgia so its difficult for members in North Georgia and especially South Georgia to attend meetings. They do have regular meetings in Savannah to cover that end of the state. I have also been told that if somebody doesn't vote, then the Local votes for you. I don't know how true that is.</p></blockquote><p></p>
