Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 4814432" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>You really need to open a history book.  Rome conquered Europe and ruled with an iron fist.  Then Christianity spread through the Roman population and ultimately its leadership.  The church became centered in Rome.  It's influence affected how Rome ruled going forward just as it's influence affected ultimately the many pagan peoples Rome conquered.  Paxa Roma, the peace of Rome, allowed Christian priests to move through the farthest reaches of the Roman empire.  This isn't some point about the superiority of Christianity, just a summation of what actually happened.  But people like you who hate Christianity don't want to acknowledge historical fact, you just want to extinguish history and start over with a suppression from memory any reference to what happened before.  You've got the problem amigo.</p></blockquote><p></p>
