I kept telling people that I thought Atlanta had by far the superior team but there was no way I would ever bet against Brady/Belichick. Last night is a perfect example of why. Incredible win.

I most always bet on the team with the better defense in play off/championship games. Put my money on New England -3.
Wrote my bet off as a loser about midway through the third quarter and changed the channel. To my surprise, the Patriots came back strong!

As an added bonus, my on road just called and offered me the day off. Guess I'm a winner two days in a row.

I give credit, where credit is due.

Even though the Patriots beat my beloved Steelers for the AFC title....

I counted them out at halftime. Didn't go back until 4:00 in the forth quarter. Wow.


Terry Bradshaw is a class act.

Didn't even mention.... Belichick and Brady eclipsed the record he and Chuck Noll

held since the seventies.


Lady Gaga acted like a total pro. I thought she might go total liberal .

I was surprised she included "one nation under God" in her opening.

The only subtle "dig" might have been at the end, dropping the mic.

But, she gets props for jumping from the top of the stadium suspended by 2 wires.

Great 4th quarter. Commercials sucked. Lost $80 on squares. Wife made hot wings and jalapeño poppers. Lets just say nobody liking that "outcome"!

Won $25 on one board and $500 on another. I'm on one more board I have to check on tonight. I didn't care who won as long as my numbers came up. Didn't even watch the game. DVR'ed it and watched the highlights about midnight. Half time show was ok--but I've never really been a Gaga fan.
